More Than Electricians: Why We Share Our Projects, Travels, and Experiences

At North By Northwest Services, electrical work is what we do—but it's not the only thing that matters to us.

As a family-owned business, we believe people want to know who they're inviting into their homes and businesses. That's one of the reasons we enjoy sharing our projects, travels, and experiences through our website, social media channels, and YouTube videos.

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects throughout Oregon and Washington. From emergency electrical repairs and panel upgrades to agricultural facilities, commercial buildings, historic home restorations, and backup power systems, every project has a story behind it.

We started documenting our work because we wanted homeowners and business owners to better understand the electrical systems they rely on every day. Many electrical projects happen behind walls, inside panels, or high above ceilings where most people never get to see the process. Through photos and videos, we're able to provide a behind-the-scenes look at how these systems are built, repaired, and maintained.

One of our favorite recent projects has been helping rewire a historic home. Projects like these remind us that electrical work is about more than wires and circuits—it's about preserving homes, protecting families, and preparing buildings for the future. Sharing the progress allows others to see the craftsmanship and planning involved in bringing older structures up to modern electrical standards.

Outside of work, we also enjoy traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest and exploring the communities we serve. Whether we're working in rural farming communities, coastal towns, growing cities, or historic neighborhoods, we appreciate the unique character of each area and the people who call it home.

Through our YouTube channel, social media pages, and project galleries, we hope to provide useful information, showcase real-world electrical projects, and give customers a better understanding of the work we perform every day.
